Day 14: Safari, Boat Ride on the Nile, & Hike to Murchison Falls

The morning of Day 14, we woke up bright and early for our safari because that is the best time to see the animals. We rented an open-air vehicle that came with a tour guide and set out to see what we could see...

  

 

So that was a pretty amazing experience! We got to see lots of animals including a lion, which is always exciting!

After we returned to our hotel, we ate breakfast then lounged at the pool a bit. It was good to finally have some down time!

After lunch, we took a boat ride on the Nile and saw hippos, crocs, and elephants - oh my! 

 

This is video Jamaica shot. It's of an elephant charging at us! We were a bit too close for comfort on that one!

Then we pulled to a shore line, hopped out of our boat and went on a hike to Murchison Falls. Words cannot express! ...

 

After that, we took the ferry back to our hotel...

Where we refreshed, ate dinner, & went to bed early. That was a long but AMAZING day!!! We are so grateful to God to have experienced it! Here's a re-cap of our day...
